Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra could be cheaper than Note 10 series
Samsung has its second Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event happening next month. The Galaxy Note 20 series is expected to debut at this event. The new Note series has been wound up in leaks and rumours for the past few months. Now a new report suggests it will be priced lower than the Galaxy Note 10 series.
Samsung is said to launch the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra at a lower price this year. This decision is due to the reduction in smartphone demand and sales because of Covid-19. The Galaxy Note 20 will be priced at 1.2 million won, and the Note 20 Ultra at 1.45 million won, according to Korean publication Naver.
If this report is accurate then Samsung would be reducing the price by 50,000 won as compared to last year’s models. To put things in perspective, the Galaxy Note 10 launched at 1.25 million won ( ₹78,300 approx) and its successor Note 20 will retail at 1.2 million won ( ₹75,200 approx). This pricing is for the Korean market so it’s not clear if the same will be applied in global markets as well.
