Google Pixel 4a could finally launch on August 3
Google has been delaying the launch of the Pixel 4a for three months now. Pixel 4a was first expected to debut in May but it was delayed to June. Reports later suggested a possible launch on July 13 which never happened. The new bet on Pixel 4a’s launch date is August 3.
Google Pixel 4a has been leaked multiple times revealing almost everything there is to know about this phone. We’ve seen leaked renders showing the same design, specifications and even features of the Pixel 4a. Even the pricing of the Pixel 4a has been leaked. Now all that’s left is for Google to make the Pixel 4a official. This could finally happen on August 3 according to Jon Prosser who seems pretty confident of this information.
Prosser tweeted an update on the Pixel 4a launch date adding that this is “100%” accurate. He also said that this time the launch will happen since review units of the Pixel 4a have been sent out and the embargo has been set as well. This is only a week from now so we could be seeing the Pixel 4a very soon.
Based on what has been leaked so far, Pixel 4a is expected to feature a 5.8-inch display. It could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. Storage options for the Pixel 4a could be 64GB and 128GB. The smartphone is expected to sport a single 12.2-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
More details on the Pixel 4a include support for only 4G, two colour options of ‘Just Black and ‘Barely Blue’. In terms of design, Pixel 4a could have a punch-hole camera, and a rear fingerprint sensor.
