Samsung launches the Galaxy Buds Live at Galaxy Unpacked
Set to take on the Apple AirPods, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live were launched today at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event. Nicknamed Galaxy Beans due to its unique bean-shaped structure, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live will be available from August 6 in select countries and will expand to more countries later.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds are priced at $169.99 ( ₹12,716 approx).
The Galaxy Buds Live come in three colours - the Mystic Bronze, Mystic White and Mystic Black. They feature active noise cancellation (ANC) and come with 12mm drivers, two internal and one external microphone and are equipped with sound by AKG and a Voice Pickup Unit.
The buds feature touch control and these can be used for your audio controls and to wake the virtual assistant - Bixby. Users can use this to navigate music, open apps and send messages. It also supports that ‘Find my earbuds’ feature and the equaliser than can be accessed from the Galaxy Buds app.
When fully charged, your earbuds can support up to 6 hours of playback, and the charging case allows you to enjoy an additional 15 hours over multiple charges. And when you need to top up on charge quickly, you can gain 1 hour of playtime with just 5 minutes of charging.
