Redmi’s G Gaming laptop is all set to launch on August 14: Specs, other details you need to know
Redmi is launching its gaming laptop, the Redmi G on August 14. It is going to be launched by Xiaomi in China and the company teased the launch through a Weibo post. Redmi already has a bunch of notebooks, the RedmiBook range, under its name that come in 13, 14 and 15 inches. This is going to be the first gaming laptop from the brand.
Going by the teaser, the Redmi G could come in an all-black colour and a 15-inch screen with bezels all around. The Redmi G may also come with an enhanced cooling system to handle all the gaming.
The Weibo account mentions that it is going to be launched at 2PM CST Asia (that’s 11:30AM IST) on August 14.
The GizmoChina report tells us that the laptop is possibly all matte and will come in black and you can spot the large vents to dissipate heat. The laptop might also launch with a full-sized keyboard and a large touchpad along with a USB port and a headphone jack.
The Redmi G is not going to be a lightweight laptop and the thick chassis, which indicates high-end graphics, is a sign of that. As a gaming laptop it only makes sense that it supports high-end graphics for optimised gaming experiences.
